The Final Year Project (FYP) at FTKE, UTeM is a key part of the engineering technology curriculum, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge and technical skills to real-world challenges. Covering fields like electrical engineering, automation, renewable energy, and embedded systems, the FYP fosters innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing graduates for careers in industry, research, and academia.Through the FYP, students undertake independent research in specialized engineering fields such as electrical engineering,  automation, renewable energy, embedded systems or other related field. The project encourages creativity, critical thinking, and technical excellence, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for engineering careers in industries, research institutions, and academia.
