It then moves on to open-loop simulation, which teaches participants how to analyse system behaviour without receiving feedback. Participants explore open-loop experiments after being introduced to the Micro-Box platform, followed by comprehensive insights into system identification. The course then moves on to close-loop experiments, which cover both uncompensated and PID control. The comparison of simulations and real-world experiments, including open-loop and closed-loop scenarios, is a critical component of the course.
